The Alhambra and the Generalife are clearly divided into four distinct areas that can be visited in a different order depending on the specific Nasrid Palaces´ entry time.

The Fortress forms the original military structure of the Alhambra. In addition to being the Nasrid Sultans´ previous residence, today it is an exceptional viewpoint from which to admire the wonders of the city and its surroundings.
Charles V palace invites us to learn about the Alhambra´s Christian history, its new architectural projects, the social changes that took place after the conquest of 1492 … as well as the music and art, both indivisible parts of the complex since being restored in the early part of the XX century.
The Summer Palace, within the Generalife, and its gardens, reveals a world of ‘water, myrtles, and fountains’, as the great poet and playwright from Granada, Federico Garcia Lorca, used to say in his writings, having had his life marked by Granada´s unique beauty.
